During my study abroad summer program I took a 6 credit Luxury Design Management course at Parsons Paris and Polimoda in Florence. During this 4 week program, I conducted research on the production of crystal glassware companies in Italy and France to create my own brand. Here I came up with Presa, a sustainable elevated glassware company. These glasses are composed of a mixture of post consumer glass, diamond dust shavings, and fine crystal with a signature pleated design inspired from a pleating atelier located outside of Paris, France. For my hard materials class in the fall, I decided to take it further and to see what the process would be like to create a model of it. I created a production schedule and physical 3D model of the icon glass.
