For Studio 1, our first objective was to create a live-work space for an entrepreneur in a loft located in the Seaport District of NYC. We were required to create a brand, floorplan, stair construction connecting to a retail space below, elevations for the loft, in addition to a handmade model and hand-drawn sketches of custom detailed elements for our midterm. For our final, we were then responsible for designing a retail space below the loft where the entrepreneur would conduct business. I designed a retail shop and wine-bar hybrid, where leather goods and wine would be sold. Our deliverables were a material floorpan, elevations, 3 rendered perspectives, program diagrams, an RCP, 3 custom design elements, and more.
